It’s likely that the engine management light has come on in your dashboard at some point and thankfully, this isn’t always a cause for concern; there’s nearly always a straightforward explanation.

Your engine management light is linked to the Engine Control Unit (ECU) and lets you know if your engine isn’t performing as it should. Your car has lots of sensors around it, and if a sensor notes a problem, it relays that information to the ECU which in turn, illuminates the engine management light so that you know to get in touch with MB Liverpool.

Usually, it’ll be a yellow light that is illuminated, but if you see a red light, it may indicate a more serious issue, so make sure to get in touch with our team at MB Liverpool straight away.
